Gonzalo

Gonzalo sings Tenor in H2M, but considers himself more of a Baritenor; he often sings parts that are slightly out of his range. He loves coming up with weird concepts, choregraphy, and blocking for our songs - if something looks strange on stage, chances are he had a hand in it. His favorite solo with the group is the George Michael's Faith/Freedom, which are two of his favorite karaoke songs.

Zalo (as he's known within H2M) sang in choirs in his home country of Argentina, but only started his a-cappella journey when he moved to the US to go to college in Vermont. He sang with the Middlebury Mamajamas for 3 years, and they can be blamed for his inability to be serious during rehearsal time. In the bay area, he joined Rapid Transit A Cappella in its final year, before forming Halway To Midnight with Elana in 2012. Being a part of this group and seeing it grow for 10 years is one of his proudest accomplishments.

When not singing, he lives and works in San Francisco with his partner Russell, and can be found hanging out at his favorite watering hole, The Edge - especially on any nights when they play musicals.
