Alicia

Alicia is a natural born ham, youngest child and resident mezzo soprano. She also likes practicing her vocal percussion skills—training with dedication to drop a beat when needed for Halfway to Midnight and to one day thoroughly embarrass her children.

“Big Al” is a life-long shower singer and choir nerd who enjoyed singing in school musicals, university chamber and orchestral choirs, competitive regional choruses, and even spent a brief time as a backup singer before she branched out to sing a cappella in college to join the other founding members of the UC Davis Spokes. Singing in this all-female a cappella group over 4 years sealed in her love for A Cappella and set her on the road to later join H2M.

When not spitting and heavy breathing onto her microphone, Alicia is also a registered nurse, parent and partner—loving all roles and feeling grateful she still gets to sing with other full-grown choir nerds in her spare time.
