During the pandemic we made our first video!
Halfway to Midnight was always an incredible a cappella group, dazzling audiences with their tight harmonies and showmanship. But even the most talented performers sometimes need to evolve and spread their wings. For this quirky bunch of seven vocalists, that metamorphosis came in the form of a mystical, oversized cocoon that appeared backstage one fateful night in 2023. Rather than question the strange silk-wrapped gift, the ever-adventurous group excitedly crawled inside, ready to embrace whatever musical magic awaited them. And boy, did they emerge transformed! After a brief but powerful cocooning, Halfway to Midnight burst forth renewed - their voices richer and more dynamic, their arrangements more innovative, and their stage presence electrifying. The only downside? Despite expectantly flapping their arms, the group was mildly disappointed to find they hadn't actually grown wings during their time in the cocoon. This tale is 100% truthful and also proof that the only thing Halfway to Midnight takes seriously is their music.
